I would like to second (or third) this as an option we would really like to see implemented ASAP.
Ideally I would like to be able to create a bundle of configurations, software deployments and security patches such that I can hit a machine with a single job that will apply all the necessary changes, without having to manage multiple jobs.
For example, during an update cycle I would like to install Java, set the configuration to disable auto updating and then apply necessary security patches in one job and reboot the machine.
As it stands right now, that would take 3 separate steps.
In addition, it would be very nice to be able to deploy multiple software packages and chose which ones get applied in which order. It makes it easier to deploy in cases where dependencies are necessary without having to write custom scripts.
