WARNING - Desktop Central build 90001 deystroyed Java installation when deploying Java 7 Update 55
I used the download link posted here by another forum poster to get DC build 90001.
After installing DC build 90001, everything seems to be fine.
I could finally start to deploy the new Java patch - no more "download failed" error.
I used an own "Apply Deployment Policy" where I have set 'Install Option' to 'During Startup' only, because I already knew that DC could "destroy" a Java installation when installing during Refresh Cycle.
And now we have at least 2 with a "destroyed" Java installation (parts from the new version, parts from the previous Java version, some parts of Java installation directory missing).
And these two computers did not restart.
So, DC installed Java update during 'Refresh Cycle'!!! and these computers have been using Java at the time of installation.
This must be a bug in the new DC version, because this had never happened again since I use 'During Startup' as an 'Install Option'.
I will open a supprt file.
