Hello everyone!
I'm having problems with deploying Java to our company computers.
We need of two Java versions, one is installed on D drive, one is
installed on C drive.
Newer version is installed first on C drive, then later older is
installed on D drive.
Problem is that, when we deploy Java to C drive, it sits and waits
with "Ready to execute" status, but it is installing (Java
first creates directory, installs some files in that directory, then
at the end it cleans up that directory, registry values are added,
Java is listed in control panel and programs and features list). When
everything is finished, we are forced to restart PC, then DC prompts
jumps out [install and reboot, install and shut down, abort install
and reboot, abort install and shut down] where we need to chose abort
install and reboot.
After booting DC tries to install Java at C disk with fail (Fatal
error during installation.)
When all that complication finishes, we can continue with older
Java version and the rest of software.
I know that you require log, but maybe if we could sort it out
without it it would be awesome. (Permissions issue, it could take some
days as we need to review it first before sending out)
Thanks,
Tomislav
