If Wake on LAN can assist you resolving your problem, may be i can give you some good news. Desktop Central would be enabling the support for Remote Office client computer wake up through the Agent infrastructure similar to Wake on LAN. It should be available by end of this year or early next quarter.
Will WoL functionality over Remote Office Agents be useful for you?
