Thanks for the post.
This problem may occur while installing 32 bit java in 64 bit machines. In-order to handle this, Desktop Central has introduced new handling which can manage this scenario. You need to update your Software Deployment templates through "Sync Application Details" from Software deployment tab and then deploy the Java through the template which you should be able to handle properly.
