Each package in templates will be having a unique checksum value which will be generated and stored in DesktopCentral DB. If the vendor has changed/upgraded the package like a new version , when we compare the checksum value from DB with actual checksum value of the package there will be mismatch. This will be posted as error message : CHECKSUM validation failed.
Generally support all the packages in templates immediately within 24 hours and hence any changes should reflect and update DB automatically .
If you are getting such error, try updating "Sync Application Details " under Software Deployment and delete and recreate package.
If issue still persists, then send me the complete DesktopCentral Server Logs for further analysis.
