Appreciate your port in our forums. 

First of all I would like to thank you for showing interest in our product. I have gone through your requirement which seems be the same what Desktop Central is designed for. 

You can include multiple packages and deploy them to individual machines or groups via single deployment task. Also if a new machine is added to the group in future, the new machine will be getting those tasks automatically applied. 

In regards with the patch mgmt module we do scan the machines using our detection logic and dependency check and find out the required patches for each computer with respect to the OS and applications got installed on the machine.
