Allow user to interact with the Installation window will launch the Install Now pop up in the end user desktop. As of now, there is no option to suppress it. I've requested team to add this requirement in the product road map.
Script may help you to remove the Office products completely. You will need to use the XML method to repair the installation via Desktop Central Software Deployment. Please refer to web site below for more information:
I see in scope of management I can reduce the default synchronization speed for each individual remote site. That's nice. but why does it try to sync all at the same time to all the remote sites. it kills my WAN, there has got to be a way to fix this m isn't there ?
As of now, this is the default work flow of replication process. This has already been raised to our development team and we're working on it. However please modify the replication interval as per the need.

In Software Deployment \ Templates there is a deployment for Microsoft PowerShell for Windows 7 SP1 (x86).
The VB script to deploy has a couple of typo's that cause the target to reboot immediately after installation. There are two lines that have "/NORESTAR" . The letter T needs adding to the end for it to work as expected.
As a side question, is it possible to detect what PS version is installed? Computer\Software Inventory doesn't list it.
This case has been analyzed and found that it occurred due to the agent communication to the server. However, I tried to reproduce the issue in the test lab and unable to reproduce it. So it's not a common issue and suspect that it's an environmental issue or specific to the setup.
The requested feature for deploying the Firefox Extension using Desktop Central is not available. If you have any script to deploy this, then you can use Desktop Central to deploy that script for invoking the extension.
